Nicholas is the Director of the Policy and Data Science Summer Program. He is also Director of Montreal Health Equity Research Consortium and Associate Professor in McGill University Faculty of Medicine in the Biomedical Ethics Unit. He also directs the Measurement, Ethics, and Decision-Making Collaborative, and sits on the board of the Centre for Social and Cultural Data Science.
Derek is the Director of Centre for Social and Cultural Data Science (CSCDS). He currently teaches Computer Science at McGill University and leads the Network Dynamics Lab. In addition, he is the co-founder of Macromeasures and Chief Architect at Charitable Analytics International.
Christopher is the Director of the Max Bell School of Public Policy. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at McGill University and the Chair of Canada's Ecofiscal Commission. He wrote the popular introductory textbook, Economics, now in its fourteenth edition and co-authored by Richard Lipsey.
Mark has been the instructor of PODS since its inception in
2018. He holds a PhD from McGill University in Political Science
with specializations in African Politics and Political Theory, and has
nearly a decade of experience consulting on M&E projects. Most
recently, Mark was an Assistant Professor of Political Science
(Political Methodology) at Texas Christian University before joining
the World Food Programme in 2020.
Tamara Yang, B.A.
Tamara completed her B.A. (Hons) in Political Science and International Development at McGill. She is the Program Coordinator for PODS, a Research Assistant for the Institute for the Study on International Development, and a Research Assistant at the Department of Political Science at McGill. Tamara is also a former PODS fellow.
Sean Nossek, B.A.
Sean completed his B.A. in International Development with a minor in Political Economy at McGill. He is currently completing his M.A. in Political Science with a focus on quantitative methods and International Relations. Sean is the bootcamp assistant for the Policy & Data Science Program.
